About

ORA Trails Fest is the evolution of a cross country race that was held in La Crosse for several years. In the past our trails have also hosted an endurance event as well, but we decided to expand to include a spectator friendly short track race, challenging enduro, and still keep a cross country race that includes a bit of everything. We’re excited that you’re here to learn more about our event and hope that our page answers all of your questions. If not, please contact event director, Chris Stindt and he’ll get back to you as soon as he is able.

Locations and maps
Upper Hixon Parking lot (start for all races, please follow volunteers to the temporary lots.)

Race Day Facilities
We will do our best to accommodate everyone! There will be facilities available in Upper Hixon, near the giant weather ball. This will include bathrooms, water, food trucks, registration and more!

What is ORA?
The Outdoor Recreation Alliance (ORA Trails) is dedicated to building happy, healthy and resilient communities by providing access to equitable and sustainable outdoor recreation experiences. All proceeds from this event go to support this mission!

Bringing your family?
We have other trails to ride, for folks who aren’t racing!
-See the full map of La Crosse Trails here. Our new Gateway trails are open and available to hiking, biking, birding, and just catching beautiful views!
